It was Google Earth that helped Swiss authorities find cannabis plantation. Yes, it’s absolutely true; Swiss authorities, on Friday, announced that they found a large cannabis plantation with the help of the highly popular free satellite mapping software, Google Earth.
O.O We are not safe? (Not that im doing anything illegal.)
According to the Swiss police, with the help of Google Earth, they were trying to find out the whereabouts of some farmers suspected of involvement in the drug racket, and they found the 7,500 m2 illegal marijuana plantation site in the northeastern canton of Thurgau. [Source]
It’s been a while since I used google maps, so I opened it up and I messed around. First search? Hey Mom you reading this? Did you know the house you raised me in is located in THE RIVER. Google says it is. It’s ok however, I looked up our current address and it isn’t water logged. The tree if finally gone in the back yard, and I can even see the Mustang! Er this point of this? I don’t know. but im going to go look at my sister’s house now.

Watch your police box Doctor. French artists Benoit Deseille and Benedetto Bufalino installed this aquarium in the middle of the Lyon Festival of Lights. Phone booths are a rare thing these days. As is pay phones. This a possible good use for phone booths? Sure, why not?

The Witches of Eastwick Anyone?
Saturday, January 24th, 2009 | Sci-fi | No Comments
Someone call Jack Nicholson and see if he would be interested in prime time TV! Otherwise I don’t think it would work. No offense to Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer but Jack made the majority of that movie. Plus, we need younger woman for the parts. Oh im sorry, what am I rambling about? Witches of Eastwick the TV show! The 1987 movie The Witches of Eastwick was based off the novel by John Updike. Would a TV series work? ABC has ordered a pilot from Warner Brothers Television which has been written by Maggie Friedman, (She wrote for ABC’s Once and Again and The WB’s Dawson’s Creek).
But can it work? What will they do? As much as this is something I wouldn’t mind watching, the plot would have to be carefully thought out. And for some reason I keep thinking: Charmed meets Desperate House Wives. How many seasons could they milk the relationship between the girls and Daryl before they kick him to the curb. Then what? The three run around as a super team of uber witches destroying evil while eyeing each others flavor of the week from across the room? I also honestly can’t see them milking out more then a season of Daryl and the girls before they boot him. Then we come back to “Then what?” another bigger badder baddie strolls onto the scene to try and woo them into a personal harem? Maybe a woman. OH ratings, I hear them coming in from the male viewers.
Im not bashing the movie or the book. Loved the movie, never read the book. (I deprive myself, I know.) Im speculating!! I personally can’t see much that could be done with it. Who knows? Im still going to check it out. If ABC buys il watch it.
OO Just thought of something. It would be REALLY interested if maybe Cher comes in and makes a guest spot. Maybe she can insinuate that Daryl used her and her friends back in the 80s. Maybe throw in something tragic like..it led to the other two dieing? Hmm the possibilities?

This is pretty interesting to see. Especially since the other day someone mentioned out WoW Guild hall having a crystal chandelier. I flat out told them we couldn’t afford anything like that. But maybe one like this?
This was part of a “Gummi Bear Sculpture” series by YaYa Chou.
