Cat developed wings at age 1

I remember when I was younger reading a sci-fi book about cats with wings. They could fly, talk and I think they were from space? Alien cats? Does this little guy talk yet? Maybe that comes later?

Strange as the case may sound, winged felines are not unheard of. Back in August 2008, the U.K. Telegraph reported that tomcats in China’s Sichuan province developed wing-like growths on their backs.
